Designer, Client, End User

Design is a process carried out by people, for people. At the heart of the design process is a dialogue between three key people: The graphic designer, the client or maker and the end-user. Ted DeCagna has been listening to clients’ needs his whole career.  It is the designer’s job to study the product or service and create a design that is not familiar but instead, very unique.  Ted’s major advantage offered as a unique service are his hand lettered logotype designs that are the farthest thing from standard lettering right out of the computer.  The result of Ted’s work is 37 design awards to date, including 27 awards for logo design because of his exclusive hand lettering solutions that impact the end-user, customers and clients for dozens of different products and industries Ted has tackled including design work for Ophthalmology clinics, audio cables, construction companies, food industry, financial services, four fitness centers, a cardiology group,  x-ray diffraction equipment, lemonade, rice cakes, gourmet pasta, gourmet spice products and organic teas to name a few. Ted’s consumer package designs include Italian ices, designer garden hose packages, cell phone holder folding carton, candies and wine and liquor label design.

All of these products have one thing in common…a striking design with vibrant color, style and a unique personality that makes his design stand out from the competition.  These designs are the end result of years of study at Pratt Institute and under some of the best design instructors in New York. And many years of practice fine tuning his skills. Ted DeCagna knows how to make your product or service strike a chord with the client and end-user, get their attention and increase your product sales.
